Re: problem!!!!!
OOOHHHH i had that problem years ago, it took me days to find a fix but i found it and there are 2 completly different ways of doing it, i only have the first option on windows 7 but its about the same on windows XP i think. Then i have anotherway of doing it, you may want to try the second way, first. oh, and try plugging in a mic if u have 1, that may work 2 : ).
1.Now, for windows 7 go to Start Menu > Control Panel > System and Security. now under where it says Firewall, click on allow a program through windows firewall then go to cod 4 and check it off. > Reboot Computer.
2. Ummmm this is for windows 7, vista and windows XP. go to Start Menu > Control Panel > hardware and sound (or just as sound i think on windows XP) > manage audio devices (i think just on Windows 7 that say that) > Recording (tab) > then enable Stereo Mix > Reboot Computer.
Did either of these solve ur problem? if not, i think i may also have a few other ways .

Re: problem!!!!!
when it happened to mine it appeared to be random. I didn't get new hardware or anything, it just happened. That's what annoyed me, not knowing what i did or if some1 else was doing stuff but at least we know how to fix it.
