awaiting connection?

hey

as some of you know on the mTi promod server i keep getting awaiting connection, but i can join any other server with no problems what so ever. I am not in any way banned from the server and the lists have been checked several times now.

does anyone know why it is happening or a fix to it?

I talked to the server provider and he said that HE doesn't even know what would be causing that... Hopefully, one of mTi have experienced something like this and you can get your answer! I'll go over the lists again to quadruple check if you want to PM me your ip.

If any of you guys have any clue whats going on with travis's connection please be sure to let him know how to correct it!

im still pretty sure it has to do with port forwarding, i just got a new router recently and my old one was port forwarded for cod4 but i dont know how to port forward for this one. anybody know how to port forward on comstar ?

http://portforward.com/ Provide step-by-step instructions for forwarding ports on hundreds of routers, individually. Unfortunately the WA-6202-V2 was the only Comstar router they had instructions for. The link above gives you instructions for this router on how to forward the CoD4 ports.

I sorta have this problem, I can connect tho, in this server I have to wait till it gets to Connection Waiting 4... then it lets me in. Weird problem.

Actually, thats not a problem XD. for every server (cracked) i have to w8 till it gets to awaiting connection 4, just be patient it only takes like 4-6 seconds to get there then game loads lol.

Yea, you have to wait for it to get to connection 4... Then it joins. when it does that, its a cracked server. useful if you don't have a keycode...
