I think xfire is a great tool used for games (love ingame chat) (you can browse the web while playing a game! that is awesome!!!)

I now have a problem with xfire 
.....Whenever i try to play and xfire is running i get low fps ...On cod 4 when fire is running i get 45 fps max!!!!...But when i close xfire then it goes back to 200+ ...Also on any other games whenever i alt+tab to see my cpu usage then it sais 95% ....Alas when i close xfire it usually shows 35%

I don't understand what you mean. (what is fps. all i thought it was is First Person Shooter). If you explain it to me, i might be able to help. Also, maybe you have low RAM.

Weird problem Infinity, cause usually xfire only gives u bad fps when recording or broadcasting.

xFire never gives me any problems, obviously when recroding or broadcasting. i dont do that often. Just try reinstalling it? maybe there is a bug. I highly doubt it but give it a try and yea a 1Gb GFX Card with 2 Gb of Ram is a problem. Cus then you only have 1 Gb of Ram to play around with

i remember what xfire did on April's fools day..
..it was smart from them to do it. But in my opinion xfire is a very useful chat program cz u can chat ingame and serf the net too!

Fixed my prob a while ago:D..turns out i had enabled flashback capture :O....disabled it and now i can play with 180 fps
